Make a note of the installation date on the cartridge. From this point onwards, the cartridge can be used for a maximum of six months or one season and a maximum of 5,000 litres. Changes in flavour (e.g. chlorine) or turbidity in the water are also indicators that a change is necessary. Likewise, the water pressure will also decrease considerably after the filter’s recommended lifespan.
