With your Hymer BML I (model year 2027), you can stay on the move whilst always keeping track of your gas tank levels. To do this, simply connect your app to the gas tank sensor supplied.

How do I connect the app to the gas cylinder?

Here are instructions on how to connect the sensor to your app:

1. Open the app and tap ‘Add sensor’. Please scan the QR code, which is included with the sensor.

2. Select the appropriate sensor type: In your vehicle, this is the sensor marked in red in the pictures.

3. Here you can name the sensor. You can enter a custom name here.

4. In this example, we are using the name "Gastank" for our sensor.

5. Follow the instructions in the app.
Please press the button labelled ‘Sync’ five times, as indicated.

6. Please enter 28 cm for the height of the tank.

7. Place the gas sensor in the housing provided. The sensor attaches to the tank magnetically.

8. To ensure you don’t forget to remove the gas sensor when changing the gas bottles, you can stick the sticker provided onto your gas bottle. (This point is shown in the app; it does not need to be taken into account at the petrol station).

9. You now have the option of setting a threshold value. The app will notify you when the threshold is reached. We recommend using a threshold of 25–30 per cent, as this will usually give you enough time to have the gas tank refilled.

10. You will now receive a confirmation as to whether the connection was successful.

If you also have gas bottles that you’d like to add to your Connect app, this is possible even if you have a built-in gas tank.

How do I disconnect the app from the gas cylinder?

1. To disconnect the sensor, please open the relevant sensor in your app. You can disconnect the sensor via the three dots in the top right-hand corner.

2. Please click on ‘Disconnect’ here to disconnect the sensor.

3. By clicking the ‘Remove’ button, you confirm that you wish to disconnect the sensor.

4. You will now receive a message confirming that the sensor has been successfully removed. If you wish to reconnect the sensor, you can follow the steps described above.
