My electric fold-down bed doesn't work. What can I do?

Is your power-operated fold-down bed out of order and can no longer be operated? 
Please check the following possible error causes:

1. Have you checked whether the "Res 3" fuse on the EBL is still functional?
   Please refer to your operating instructions for the exact position of the fuse and how to change fuses.
2. Is power available via the 12V supply?
   To do this, please check the main power switch on the control panel in the entrance area of the vehicle and make sure that the vehicle is properly connected to an external power source.
3. Can you see if there are any loose or damaged cables in the lifting bed area?
   If you see loose or damaged cables, please contact a dealer. You can find an overview of your nearest dealer via the dealer search.
4. Could the fold-down bed be too heavy?
   For the function test, please remove everything except the mattress from the fold-down bed.
5. Have you already tried operating the fold-down bed using the emergency hand crank?
   Please refer to your operating instructions for the exact position of the emergency hand crank.
