What is the difference between absorption and compressor refrigerators?

The main difference between absorption and compressor refrigerators is the way they operate.

The compressor refrigerator (operating source 12V and 230V) works independently of the outside temperature. This means that even when the outside temperature is 40 degrees, the contents of the refrigerator can still be cooled well. This refrigerator cannot run on gas.

The absorption refrigerator (operating source 12V/230V/gas) can only cool in a certain temperature range (compared to the outside temperature).
